How it started
A small dream
Doolittles started as a small dream built on a love for dogs. Today it is a family run boarding hotel just for small breeds. It sits on our quiet two and a half acre property, one kilometre west of Sylvan Lake.
Why small dogs only
Big dogs, big boo boos
We love dogs of every size. But after fifteen years as a small dog owner, dog parks and big kennels always gave us pause. Accidents happen, even between good dogs. And a big dog can leave a big mark on a small one. Other small dog owners told us they felt the same way. That is what inspired Doolittles.

Supervised and structured group play, every day, in our big indoor playground. Plus one on one time with our staff so every dog gets a turn.
Quiet, comfy, and their own
Private Suites
Each guest has a secluded suite with a raised bed and anti stress bedding. A calm place to rest between play times.
Lights out, done right
Evening Turndown
An ear or belly rub, a bedtime treat, calming music, and vet approved aromatherapy. Every guest gets a great night of sleep.
